Scan your card in-store
Visit World Square or Kingsford IGA and scan your Go Rewards card at checkout - this links your account to the student discount group.
Verification
Your student status is checked against the University Student Program.
This may take up to 7 days, so don't worry if your discount isn't active immediately.
Using your discount
Once verified, just scan your digital card at the checkout and 5% off is applied automatically, and you'll keep earning loyalty points on top.

Which universities are eligible?
Any currently enrolled student at an accredited Australian university, with a valid student email or ID.
My student discount isn't showing up at Checkout. What's going on?
A couple of things to check first: was your Go Rewards card already active before you applied for the student discount? If not, that can stop the discount from linking properly. Verification takes up to 7 business days from your first Go Rewards card scan in-store, after you've completed your sign-up registration. If it's still not working after that, email us your Go Rewards card number, phone number, and full name and we'll look into it.
How long does verification take?
Verification takes up to 7 business days after you've both registered and scanned your card in-store.
Does this stack with the loyalty program?
Yes. Your student discount applies on top of loyalty points, so you keep earning as usual.
I've graduated, what happens now?
Congratulations on graduating! Once your student ID expires, your 5% student discount will no longer apply. Your Loyalty membership will remain active, so you'll still keep your points, earn points, and access other member offers.
